ABOUT US
Friends of the Langley Library (FLL or the Friends) is a dedicated, all-volunteer nonprofit organization founded in 1921 in Langley, Washington. While it is independent from the Langley Library, the FLL exists to support the Library and promote literacy in the community by:
Fostering community engagement and support for the Library
Raising funds for Library needs through membership dues, book sales, and other fundraisers
Sponsoring educational and enrichment programs for individuals of all ages
Independently hosting our annual Nancy Pearl event at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts
We are a membership organization and our success relies on dues and donations from the community. Thank you for your support and sharing our passion for the Langley Library!
